I’ve really enjoyed participating in Skype a Scientist sessions. It’s such a clever, simple, and fun way to communicate one’s science, and the fun of being a scientist, to students across a range of ages and experiences. I highly recommend getting involved if you have the opportunity!
Philadelphia Science Festival 2017
The adviser and I weren’t able to march for science this weekend because we were teaching kids about rivers and environmental management at the time. Hopefully, there won’t need to be a march for science for the next generation, but if there is, I have a hunch that some of these future scientists and engineers will be there!
